Iowa Historic Preservation Alliance, Humanities Iowa, and Heartland Properties, Inc. are sponsoring a two day workshop on preserving the legacy of Iowa's one-room schools.

Saturday Sessions:

Bus tour and observation of program activities at 2 area country schools.

Optional Activities:

Sunday - Tour Living History Farms or visit Covered Bridge Festival, Winterset.
Monday - Visit Amish schools and restored Summit School in Rowley.
