Windsong Village Apartments is a mixed-income community designed to meet a broad range of family needs. Seventy-five apartments (62%) were developed using the Section 42 Housing Tax Credits and are targeting to residents earning less than 60% of the Kenosha County median income. The balance are unrestricted, market-rate units. The 15-acre campus offers a large clubhouse and six buildings with a total of 24 one-bedroom, 72 two-bedroom and 24 three-bedroom apartments. Twelve of the units incorporate barrier-free designs for residents with physical disabilities. There are 70 covered parking stalls and additional off street surface parking for 170 vehicles. The apartments have central air conditioning, dishwashers, disposals and appliances.
